Dental implant. The right solution for replacing missing teeth.

We know what missing teeth and a crooked smile mean, and your smile is one of the first details that those around you notice.
Restoring your teeth with dental implants is not only an aesthetic benefit, but also improves your overall health.
We will help you regain your confidence and the full smile you want.
We base our diagnosis on clear data and work with you to establish a treatment plan that aligns with your wishes.
What are the benefits of dental implants:
- Restoring the smile and chewing function without grinding neighboring teeth. Unlike a dental bridge.
- Replacing the classic solution of removable prosthesis.
- Preserving bone and gum, which otherwise, without stimulation, would continuously resorb due to the lack of teeth.
- Excellent aesthetics.
- Masticatory efficiency.
- Quality life and stable oral health.
- Confidence and a better social life.

What is a dental implant

A dental implant is a device, a screw made of titanium alloy biocompatible with the human body, placed in the patient's bone. The dentist specializing in dental implants will then be able to attach a dental crown to the implant, which will replace the lost tooth. Thus, the restoration will be completed.
A dental implant is an extremely viable long-term solution to replace lost teeth, if there is enough bone tissue.
In some cases, bone augmentation / reconstruction treatment may be necessary. The lifespan and long-term success of a dental implant also depends on the quantity and quality of the bone in which the implant is to be placed. The thickness of the bone tissue surrounding the implant must be at least 1.5 - 2 mm.
Over 90% of surgical interventions in our clinic require bone augmentation and soft tissue procedures to provide long-term stability to the implants.
When a dental implant is recommended to you.
At our clinic in Timisoara, dental implants are recommended to all patients who:
- want this type of treatment and understand its benefits.
- have a stable general health condition and are under control.
- classical treatment alternatives are not acceptable or do not bring additional benefits.
When we do not recommend dental implants.
- the classical treatment alternative brings greater benefits compared to the implant.
- you have a general health problem that requires treatment because the condition you suffer from is not yet under control.
- the patient is a smoker aggravated.
Types of Dental Implants
- Multiple dental implants
- Dental implant systems - fixed dentures - all-on-4 all-on-6
- Removable dentures on dental implants
How long does it take to insert a dental implant.
No one can know the actual duration of the treatment with any accuracy before its successful completion. Depending on the situation of each patient, the amount and density of bone tissue, as well as soft tissue (gum), bone or gingival augmentation
may be necessary.
In this case, an optimal waiting time is required to give the patient's biology time to form bone tissue (4-8 months).
The actual procedure for inserting a single implant takes between 5 and 15 minutes for an experienced dentist.
Teeth in the same day.
When the situation is favorable, the implants can be loaded with teeth immediately postoperatively, thus the patient receives the teeth in the same session as the implant insertion, the restoration of the smile and masticatory function is achieved immediately, and this aspect is popularly known as teeth in 24 hours, teeth in the same day.
The conditions for having teeth in 24 hours, respectively fixed teeth in the same day, are:
the patient still has enough bone for inserting dental implants in a correct position
the quality of the bone tissue is appropriate, respectively the bone is sufficiently dense
the position of the implants is favorable to perform a work that can be easily sanitized by the patient
One of the most important steps in our clinic is the tests. You will find the details and complexity of these analyses in the Dental Implant Guide.
Without correct analyses and without accurate information, the dentist can be likened to a ship captain sailing without a compass, and the treatment would be imprecise.

All these analyses are performed in the clinic. We have all the necessary modern equipment.
Based on the information, we can create a medical treatment plan, evaluate the costs and the budget. Only then can we make a time estimate.
Completing a treatment plan can take between one month and two years, depending on what you want, your budget and your body.
Tissue regeneration and augmentation.
When the height and thickness of the bone is limited, it is necessary to resort to guided bone tissue regeneration. Bone augmentation techniques include the use of a biomaterial that maintains bone volume.
Bone regeneration can be done simultaneously with the insertion of implants. In other cases, bone augmentation must be done prior to the insertion of dental implants, which will be inserted into the new bone formed after the biological process is completed.
Sinus Lift
It is a procedure frequently used when, after tooth loss, there is no longer enough height for the placement of implants to replace the lost teeth. Sinus augmentation can help correct this problem by raising the sinus floor and developing bone for the placement of dental implants. It involves raising the sinus membrane under which bone is formed necessary for the placement of dental implants. It may be the case of Internal Sinus Lift or External Sinus Lift.
